Season Blocks & Plate

Season Blocks take 2.  Originally I made them in Relief Society,  I needed something for my mantle.  So I measured my blocks on the 2X4 and had my husband cut them for me.  I sanded and stained them.  Then I went to put my paper on…somewhere along the way I forgot that a 2×4 is not 4″ wide…so only Spring is done, I need to re-cut Summer, Winter, and Autumn the M’s and W’s are too wide for the blocks.
Sanded and Stained

Modge Podge paper let it dry then add letters and another coat  of Modge Podge.

I made my own Modge Podge equal parts water and Elmers Glue All. I tested it out on this plate, I used Aaron’s favorite picture with our favorite quote from Elder Wirthlin “Come What May and Love it”.  It worked out perfect 🙂
